The UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin is a Mixed Martial Arts event to be held by the UFC on July 3, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

Brock Lesnar’s potential in the UFC was recently in trouble due to a serious health problem, but now is back on preparation again and ready to protect his belt for the second time since winning it from Randy Couture at UFC 91. On the other hand, Shane Carwin is coming off on ruling victory over UFC veteran Frank Mir at UFC 111. Both fighters have been programmed to clash before for the belt, but Lesnar became unwell and it was decided by the UFC that an In-term Heavyweight Belt should be assigned to the Carwin and Mir winner. Now, UFC 116 will combine the belts and will decide the UFC’s top heavyweight.
