The Expendables is a hard- hitting action-thriller film about a team of highly- trained, ‘dangerous’ mercenaries, rent out and is sent on a mission to South American country to overthrow its brutal dictator. As the mission begins, the group discovered and realized that the situation is complicated and is not as it appears. They all find themselves trapped in a deadly game of deception and all of them wedged in a dangerous web of trickery and betrayal.

The film stars an array of action veterans including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Jet li and Stallone himself, as well as more recent stars such as Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Terry Crews Stone, Cold Steve Austin and many more. Filming began last March 28, 2009, in Rio de Janeiro, New Orleans, and Los Angeles, and is scheduled for release on August 13, 2010.
