With this upcoming action thriller film, SALT, will be Angelina Jolie’s next movie that will surely trap you in front of your screens! Directed by Philip Noyce and written by Kurt Wimmer together with Brian Helgeland, this film will also star Chiwetel Ejiofor and Liev Schreiber. Here, Jolie plays Evely Salt, accused of being a KGB Sleeper agent, on the run struggling to clear her name.

While Tom cruise was first secured for the lead, he was unable to commit the role because of commitments to other projects, and the script was eventually rewritten for Jolie. Filming took place on location in Washington, DC and New York City and it was scheduled for release on theaters this coming July 23rd.
