Pacquiao vs Cotto: The crowd taker!

This is another moment to rejoice for boxing fans and aficionados. A contract has been completed for boxing’s biggest fight this November. The showdown between pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and welterweight titleholder Miguel Cotto is now on. This is the Pacquiao vs Cotto fight!
Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, two of boxing’s most popular and crowd-pleasing boxers, will meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Nov. 14 through HBO’s PPV.
After the long wait who’s to be Pacquiao’s foe now it is done. Bob Arum of Top Rank have announced to the reporters. This is again a sure edge for Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs) that he will receive more than 50 percent of the money. That was never a serious sticking and twigging point. The key holdup had been the contract weight.
The pride of Puerto Rico, Miguel Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), a titleholder at 147 pounds, had agreed to drop below the welterweight limit for the fight. Pacquiao, the 140-pound junior welterweight champion, wanted him to come all the way down to 143 pounds where the Puerto Rican refused for this negotiation. Ultimately, both parties agreed on a 145-pound maximum weight.
Pacquiao, 30, a boxing icon and the national hero of the Philippines, tallied a sensational knockout over Ricky Hatton to win the junior welterweight title last May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. That victory gave Pacquiao a world championship in a record-tying sixth weight division. Simply amazing!
While the Puerto Rican Cotto, 28, is coming off a bloody split decision victory in a title defense versus Joshua Clottey on June 13 at New York’s Madison Square Garden where Cotto win in an emotional split decision.
Prearranged on their penchant for all-action brawls, Arum said that he had high expectations that Cotto and Pacquiao would produce another memorable fight where boxing fans should really bite.
Many said also that this fight will cover up the Mayweather vs Marquez match which is becoming infamous. But who knows? Two months still on the run to cover up its missing popularity and appeal to the boxing fanatics.
Let us watch the fight and support Pacquiao vs Cotto on the 14th of November at the MGM Grand at Las Vegas. Go Pacquiao!

Pacquiao has knocked out Hatton in the 2nd round and I think Cotto will be knocked out by Pacquiao in the 3rd round because Pacquiao is very strong. His left is like a hammer and Cotto is an easy target of Pacquiao’s left like hammer and Pacquiao will get it in 3rd round.
