The Other Guys is an upcoming action comedy film directed and co-written by Adam McKay. Starring in this movie are Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg. One of the most popular films at this year’s Sundance Festival – and winner of the World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury prize – has been David Michôd’s Animal Kingdom. Set in the seemingly unruffled city of Melbourne, the film is a dark and atmospheric family felony drama.  Michôd shows a lot of directing maturity in his debut feature.  His characters are quiet and all seem to be hiding something.  This juxtaposes very well with the action that roars speedy and furiously, leaving the audience shuddering.

Animal Kingdom tells the tale of seventeen year-old J (Josh) as he navigates his continued existence amongst an explosive criminal family and the detective who thinks he can save him. J quickly comes to believe that he is a player in this world, but soon find out that the entire situation is far larger and more threatening than he could ever envisage. Guy Pearce plays senior police officer Nathan Leckie, who, recognizing that J’s youth and inexperience might well prove to be the key to finally conquering the Codys, tries to lure him into the fold after the death of a close associate. In order to survive, J must settle on how the game is played and choose his place in this slyness and brutal animal kingdom.

Welcome to the startling Melbourne crime underworld, where tensions are on the rim of ignition between felons and renegade cops. The Animal Kingdom is scheduled to release on August 13, 2010. Animal Kingdom is a truly vast film.  Wrenching and catastrophic, this film takes the crime drama away from the crime itself and into the heart of the dynamics of families that, depending on your viewpoint, have too much or not enough love to permit each other to go on the way they have.  Perfectly crafted, Watch Animal Kingdom which will leave the audience feeling like a frog in a pot of water, who couldn’t notice that the water was sweltering until it was already too late.

Inception

While many of us have been trying to decipher the plot of Chris Nolan’s Inception, few fine points about the approaching sci-fi/thriller have actually come to beam. Besides the fact that this is a movie “from the director of The Dark Knight” with Leonardo DiCaprio in the starring role, people hardly know what to expect. Not even the teaser clip helped us all that much. During a range of press visits and interviews with the cast and director, a few Inception details have started to tip out over the last few months; now we’re amassing them here to share.

In an upcoming issue of Empire Magazine, Chris Nolan talks about that he was only 16 when he came up with the impression of the concept for Inception. Leonardo DiCaprio recently told the website movies.ie that Inception will have a two-hour runtime. The Playlist has tinted a new quote from Nolan, which confirms a private report broken last summer by In Contention regarding Inception’s plot.

Meanwhile Inception is all about, dealing with levels of reality, and perceptions of reality which is something I’m very interested in. With this upcoming action thriller film, SALT, will be Angelina Jolie’s next movie that will surely trap you in front of your screens! Directed by Philip Noyce and written by Kurt Wimmer together with Brian Helgeland, this film will also star Chiwetel Ejiofor and Liev Schreiber. Here, Jolie plays Evely Salt, accused of being a KGB Sleeper agent, on the run struggling to clear her name.

While Tom cruise was first secured for the lead, he was unable to commit the role because of commitments to other projects, and the script was eventually rewritten for Jolie. Filming took place on location in Washington, DC and New York City and it was scheduled for release on theaters this coming July 23rd.

The Expendables

Watch The Expendables Movie Online – Take a pause, guys! Have you heard this thing before? Does it sound familiar to you ever since? Yes, for even just the title of this movie “The Expendables” says it all. Directed by Stallone, this one will surely be the next movie to excite and rock your world! I’m sure that all of you guys really love action films and now let’s all be united again with this upcoming ensemble action-war movie written by Dave Callaham and Sylvester Stallone himself.

The Expendables is a hard- hitting action-thriller film about a team of highly- trained, ‘dangerous’ mercenaries, rent out and is sent on a mission to South American country to overthrow its brutal dictator. As the mission begins, the group discovered and realized that the situation is complicated and is not as it appears. They all find themselves trapped in a deadly game of deception and all of them wedged in a dangerous web of trickery and betrayal.

The film stars an array of action veterans including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Jet li and Stallone himself, as well as more recent stars such as Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Terry Crews Stone, Cold Steve Austin and many more. Filming began last March 28, 2009, in Rio de Janeiro, New Orleans, and Los Angeles, and is scheduled for release on August 13, 2010.

This is the best non-stop action movie of the year with more stars than any other! We absolutely love this movie and we know that if you are even the slightest fan of action movies, then this one will have you chained to the edge of your seat.

Predators 2010

Predators 2010 Movie is a sequel to two great Predator Films; Predator (1987) and Predator 2 (1990). Predators (2010) is produced by Robert Rodriguez, Alex Young and Elizabeth Avellan and is directed by Nimrod Antal. This American science-fiction horror-film is set for release this July July 8, 2010 (international) and July 9, 2010 (United States).

You will be seeing once more this Predators 2010 film as it was made originally from the previous films but of course in addition to the original Predator designs, the movie will also feature many new creatures never before seen in a previous Predator film. You will be seeing like a new breed of Predators that belong to another Predator tribe, alien creatures that have been cultivated by the Predators for use in hunting, and other alien creatures that have been brought to the planet by the Predators to be used as prey. For sure these new breeds of Predators will make you atrocious as you watch the movie.

So join Royce as he was abducted by these alien creatures better known as the Predators. Royce reluctantly leads the group of elite warriors as they come to realize they have been brought together on this planet as prey for a new breed of Predators. This is now why the title Predators is intended to have a double meaning, in that it refers to both the film’s alien creatures, plus the group of humans who are going against them.

Despicable Me 2010

Despicable Me is an interesting 3D-animated film coming out July 9, 2010, featuring the voice of Steve Carell. An all-star cast voiced this film: Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig, Danny McBride, Miranda Cosgrove, Jack McBrayer, Mindy Kaling, Jemaine Clement, and Julie Andrews. Directed by Pierre Coffin, Chris Rennaud, and Sergio Pablos.

In a nice little neighborhood sits an ugly black house, where lives Gru (Steve Carell). He is a wicked, wicked man who loves anything evil and is currently working on an evil plot to steal the moon. Then he gets a bit derailed when he meets three little orphan girls who want him to be their dad.

The plot of Despicable Me appears to be substantive, and the look of it very pleasing to the eye. The humor should appeal to just about anyone. It is rated PG though, for some rude humor. What would you think Despicable Me all about? What species are those minions away? Well… It’s for us to wait and see this upcoming movie. Watch The Sorcerer’s Apprentice 2010 – We’re going to the world of magic once more time guys! Know why? Well, I know that some of you differ when it comes to what place or when you’re going to watch some movies you wished to witness. Just like the previous films we had here. Set for a July 2010 release, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is loosely based on the famous mini from Disney’s Fantasia (1940). The film revolves around a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan, Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) who recruits and trains young protégé Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) to help him fight against the evil forces. It will take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

This film was originally set to be released on July 16, 2010, but has been moved up to July 14, 2010. Directed by Jon Turteltaub, this film stars Nicolas Cage (Ghost Rider 2, Kick-Ass), Jay Baruchel (Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian), Alfred Molina (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time) and Monica Bellucci in lead roles.

The Last Airbender

Now guys, it’s at hand! While your mind is still busy bringing to mind the panorama between Bella and Edward in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, we will again make your excitement aroused with this new upcoming movie! I know some of you might had already an idea and can’t even wait for this next movie that will surely shake the world of fantasies, but of course guys, let’s first take a look on what this film is all about.

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies present The Last Airbender, an action-adventure fantasy film directed and produced by M. Night Shyamalan and was scheduled for release in digital 3D on July 2, 2010. He is back with another film that we all hope would not be a disaster just like his last two. This film is a live- action film adaptation of the first season of the animated television series The Last Airbender created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, and which has its influences from Asian art, mythology, and various martial arts fighting styles.

In a world where the elements, Water, Earth, Fire, and Air can be controlled by people known as “benders”, the Fire Nation is waging a ruthless war to control the other great nations. The only hope for stopping the war rests on the shoulders of a young boy named Aang(Noah Ringer). The last known Airbender and survivor of the peaceful Air Nomads, Aang, is the Avatar. The Avatar is the physical embodiment of the world, with the ability to control all four elements and draw upon the combined power, knowledge, and experience of the Avatar’s previous incarnations. The Avatar’s duty is to maintain peace between the four nations and the spirit realm, ensuring that the world remains in balance.
